OK, if you add up that you have a cold, you volunteered to shovel snow, you did a mise en place for the waffles AND you are delivering some to your mother before 7 am....you are making the rest of us look bad. Very bad. Total slackers. slacker is now my middle name.
But I don't hold it against you: I still hope your cold goes away. :-)

I'm going to get the shovel out. NOW! Feel better.

Pamela.

I agree with Jeanette (BTW-I follow mistress of longears on Flickr--small world).
You are lovely to deliver waffles to your mom . Hope your cold is gone soon.
Happy New Year.

Hope you feel better soon. Waffles look delicious. I recently heard on the radio, some type of winter old-wives-tales/ fact or fiction segment, to feed both a cold and a fever! Your body could always use the energy. Music to my ears! Happy New Year!

Nancy

Actually, I always heard it "Stuff a cold..." So you're on the right track.

I love reading your blog from Lawrence, I used to live in Ozawkie years ago and I still miss Lawrence, just not the weather. Thanks for the fun and the memories.
