I did not feel "old" when I turned 50. I still don't feel old. But when your little sister turns 50? Now that.... can make you feel kind of old.
That's her in the stroller looking a little irritated at my brother who is trying to make her smile for the camera. We are celebrating her birthday by taking a little art retreat next week. More on that later. In the meantime.... happy birthday sister!
Looking forward to hearing about the art retreat! The ones I've been to have been glorious fun, even as an introvert ;-)

I can't tell you how "old" I felt when my child turned 50...egad! She's catching up to me. When I turned 70 I felt really old for about 10 mins.
Can't wait to hear about the art retreat! When/where?
