Tomorrow it's off to the Art Retreat in Palm Springs with my sister and Pam  Tonight as I was trying to add the last photo to my Norway Journal, I had a thought that trying to get an art journal finished before you go to an art retreat is a bit like cleaning the house before the housekeeper comes.  I can't tell you how it cleared my mind to think of it in that way.  This art retreat is with 2 very laid back artists.  I can finish up the journal with new techniques I learn from them. 

Thank goodness I can now just plan my wardrobe.  I think this bathing costume will coordinate nicely with the pantsuit things Mary Ann and Pam have picked out for themselves.

Oh yes, back to the polyester pant suits! EEK. Don't laugh, I had a friend who used to clean her entire house the night before the housekeeper came. I had called her to invite her to some great fun event, she turned me down because she had to clean!!!! Obviously, we are no longer "friends."

Hope you have a grand time at the art event. If you can find a place to get a date shake, do not miss the opportunity. A taste treat to die for.
