Storms are heading in our direction tonight.
But I couldn't care less. My attention is 100% occupied in another area.
It's time to break out the candy corn and cocktail peanuts. Oh sweet mother of all that is holy, thank you for the perfect union of salty and sweet.
Stitch, stitch, munch. Repeat until the rabbit is done or the candy container has been emptied. Whichever comes first.
Did you notice the heart healthy sign on the peanuts? Do not bother yourself with anything about the glycemic index of candy corn. That is just for researchers.

I was introduced to this autumn treat by you a few years back and I've been hooked ever since.... I now buy only small amounts of this "crack" in the bulk section... if I were to buy a whole bag I'd eat it all at one sitting.... ask me how I know that????

I LOVE candy corn--but I like that autumn mix best with the pumpkins--I try to resist buying it every year, because i can't stop eating it once I have started--adding peanuts--what a wonderful idea--that would keep me from eating so much right???? WRONG...

I think candy-corn is an American thing...
Never had any up here...
But...I do like the combo of salty and sweet!
Don't each tooooo much, Carol!
Enjoy your evening...
