I have only read one of Steven Kings books, Carrie, which I believe was his debut novel. I tried to read 11/22/63 but Couldn't. wade thru the cast (s) of character.

I LOVED Mr. Mercedes and am patiently waiting in line to read Finders Keepers. Word to the wise though: avoid Revival at all costs...I read that after Mr. Mercedes and was so disappointed and even angry at the ending. I felt like it was a colossal waste of my time and I was sort of shocked at how bad it was given the fact that I love King's work so much. Doctor Sleep though...the follow-up to The Shining...excellent!

Read your blog faithfully but quietly...

I really liked Mr Mercedes too--I hadn't read any Stephen King in years and now I want to go back and read some of the ones I missed through the years--can you recommend any favorites?

Janet: here are some of my favorites, - Bag of Bones, 11/22/63, Dolores Claiborne, and The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon. You are in for a treat with these.

I agree. Stephen King is a great writer and 11/22/63 is one of my best reads too! Definitely read Finder's Keepers. I loved it!

Thanks for the recommendation, may get this for my trip on audible.

Even tho I'm not the King fan that you are, your recommendations have whetted my whistle to read unputdownable books recommended by you and sister Mary Ann.
