The farmers market season is winding down here in Lawrence. Only a few more weeks left and then the season ends. Sniff, sniff. This made me really glad to see there were still some flowers to be had today. Along with roasted chestnuts, squash, and a ... beauty school drop out. I think that's what she said she was.
I bought apples, resisted the apple cider doughnuts, discussed what in the heck you do with black Spanish radishes, and just as I was leaving I spotted a 4 legged shark - with a tail. Which of course means I slammed on the brakes and got out of the car.
Oh dear. Poor little doggy was not sure what to make of that fin on his back. I hope he got a really nice treat at the end of the day.
I know I did. Get a really nice treat I mean. In the form of flowers and produce. Happy Halloween everyone!
Happy Halloween! Are you full to the top with Candy Corn??? Great pictures. I too shall miss the Farmer's Market. I live vicariously through yours.
