I used those hand made cloths in the kitchen until I was convinced by their maker to try one as a face cloth. What a great little skin treatment they give! She(my sister) uses spare yarn to make them for the local food bank. When she wants to go "all out" she gives a cloth, soap, toothbrush combo.

I love the shawl. In fact, I love everything shown in this post. Can't wait to see what the sale yarn becomes. Please keep us updated as things progress.

Interesting about the dishcloths, I've made many for friends and charity groups. All my friends love them. I don't care for them myself, too thick and bulky. But always found them fun to knit or crochet. There's even a Yahoo group that has a new mystery pattern KAL every month.

Not being able to knit or crochet (hand cramp problems) has really put a dent in the things I love to do...worse, I can't find anything to replace either pastime.
