Happy Friday from Tall Tales Headquarters, where as we speak Chris is chopping and dicing and peeling. Making a big old bowl of potato salad for a family picnic tomorrow. There will be burgers and brats and quinoa and watermelon and brownies and maybe some salsa and chips. Most importantly there will be a baby to hold and great nieces and nephews to take on hikes.
Other things on tap for the weekend include a bit of gardening, peach cobbler eating, and making cocktails with gin, basil, cucumbers, and limes.
I also plan to sit on the porch and think about life and how sweet it is. Because sometimes I forget that when I get too busy.
