Today, in between making a dental appointment (which I blame on Dottie & Christy for giving me a box of pumpkin seed brittle) and doing laundry, I finished listening to Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave.
It takes place in London in the first years of World War II. I found it a compelling story and recommend it highly, especially to those of you who are historical fiction buffs like me. Sister I am going to NEED you to contact Chrissy West and arrange for the 3 of us to meet when we go to England so she can tell me about what it was like to live in London at this time.
While I listened, I knitted away on this yarn which has been in my stash for awhile. It is so pretty and I wanted to make something from it that would be light enough to wear inside. We'll see how what I am doing works out. Which means you may or may not see it for awhile. Fingers crossed for the former.
P.S. The pumpkin seed brittle is from Trader Joe's and it is phenomenal.
