This Friday night the thing that has me giddy is the thought of getting up in the morning and walking around the house to open every single window shade and curtain so I can stare outside while my pot of coffee brews.
Then, cup in hand, I will go outside and inspect all the pansy pots.
After which the eggs will be put on to boil for the annual dying competition. I saw a recipe for siracha deviled eggs that looked interesting and would go well with a peach cocktail on the deck.
Clouds will be stared at, and for sure there will be a trip to the garden store to buy some zinnia and cosmos seeds. A fine selection of flowering plants for cutting can not be left to chance.
And I haven't even mentioned the farmers market, a nature walk, some sewing... speaking of which, below is my prototype for a cocktail napkin. You don't think I need cocktail napkins with bunnies on them do you? Say no. Please.
There will also be time made for putting Easter grass in the Easter baskets for Easter candy to be nestled in. Naps will be optional.
