This past week, in addition to "Eastering", I spent a few hours out and about, checking up on things.
I watched the occupants of birdhouse #15 for a bit.
I intended to bring this lunch with me, in case I got caught on an extended stake-out, but forgot. Nevertheless you need to know that pumpernickel bread with a smear of smoked gouda pimento cheese spread and a thick layer of micro greens makes an excellent sandwich.
I didn't forget my book and sat on a bench for a good hour reading. Reading outside in the breeze is delightful.
There were no baby geese at the lake yet, but I did see a creature in the water that might have been a snake. He was elusive. I also spotted 2 beavers building a dam.
Geese were practicing their maneuvers overhead. Sometimes in V formations and sometimes flying solo.
Note to self: there is a LOT of stuff going on around here. Work observation time into schedule more often.
