Sounds like a pretty good deal to me as I am sure your house is pretty tidy to begin with and a truckload of peonies wold be very nice Only problem is the commute to lawrence

I dare you to just do that anyway. There are no house keeping police nor laundry police within 200 miles of you.

Karen: such a good point :)

I guarantee you that those housekeeping chores will be waiting for you after a day of sitting on the porch listening to the birds sing. How many times in a lifetime have you done just that? I'd guess very few. Or if you're not comfortable with not doing something, throw a couple of loads of laundry in the washer, head for the porch, let the washer do the work, you can do the folding between bird song. Sounds like a plan to me.
