You all likely already know about taproot magazine, but in case you are like me, and were not familiar with "the magazine for makers, doers, and dreamers" here is your heads up.
It was a link to an article about a "journal cowl" that made me go and check it out. I am glad I did. The paper is lovely to run your hands over, the artwork (photography and illustrations) so beautiful to look at.
I didn't know I needed to make a fennel broth. Until now.

Just looking at the pictures makes me happy. But there is also the writing. The ideas. Each of the issues I have looked through is filled with ideas that lead to more ideas.
These will be savored. Read and re-read. As for that journal cowl that led me here in the first place? I think it will be the perfect project for the Norwegian Steamer excursion with my sister when we are in our 70's,
