When I was supposed to be working on a powerpoint presentation last night, that I was to turn in last week, but now have agreed to turn in on Monday, I somehow found myself here. I am very susceptible to photgraphs of this nature. So you know what happened. It started with peaches going on the list for the store.
Which led to this after 50 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
And the final result after a decent 15 minute cooling off period.
All of this, just from a momentary lapse in concentration, which led to distraction, which led to some blog surfing. There ARE some benefits to a lack of focus. This is my new favorite peach cobbler recipe which I would have never found had I been working ... which actually I should be doing now as well.
I live in distraction mode...it's become a way of life. Your distraction actually produced something delish! Looks and probably tastes scrumptious. I don't know how you stay so thin....I'd be a blimp if I baked goodies like this.

I am Jonesing so badly for sugar right now and you show me THIS???? Wish I had a big bowl of it, with lots of ice cream melting slowing, rivlets of cold creamy goodness running down though the peaches to puddle on the bottom of the bowl. Sheesh, I think I gained a pound just writing that!
I will try it for myself, the next time I lose focus.
