Today he had to go and do it. Couldn't wait another day. "We are 10 days into October," he says. It's TIME! So he goes to the store today and comes home with this.
One of the most highly addictive substances known to humankind. He brings it right into our very home. And what am I to do? I mean I have this ridiculously cute little container especially made for it. I'll just mix it up and set it out to give the house a festive fall flair. A little something for any unexpected guests that happen to drop by.
Would you believe me if I told you that within an hour of my mixing it up we had something like 10 guests?
I've never heard of that mixture before. If I made that for my husband he would be so delighted. Another great taste treat recommendation.

It might go further if you mix in a bag of fall colored M&Ms (red, brown, orange) - just for looks, you know...

For a change of pace from the traditional mix, M&Ms has a new white chocolate candy corn. Just sayin'... :)

I believe you. I do. It's happened at my house. The fact that I NEVER actually SEE the guests who eat all the candy is odd, but there you have it. It must be happening all over the country! Maybe even the whole world.....

Yep, it's the dang candy corn elves...the sneaky little turkeys! They have been to my house too...and devoured 2 bags of Brach's candy corn & punkin mix...that was two weeks ago...barely Oct. Both those bags now reside on my hips.

Well, I believe you! I can't go near Candy Corn. Can't stop eating it. Can't stand the sugar shock. BUT I never thought of adding peanuts to the mix!!! Problem solved. Thank you!

Candy Corn YUMMMMM. Why Carol, you are a veritable Martha Stewart! I just love your candy corn basket. If I brought that home, my husband would have chucked it into the Goodwill pile, yet we still have his flea bitten Christmas ornaments from his side of the family....I have been breaking them regularly each year and replacing them slowly so he hasn't caught on.

I may have been your 10 visitors...based purely on past behavior. It's not October till I have eaten at least a pound of this mix. Indian candy corn preferred, though the plain yellow corn disappears alarmingly fast. I'm sorry. Really. Really sorry that mine is all gone.

I bought some too. Have a cute little orange leaf dish for them. Filled it up to the brim. It lasted TWO days. It was a magnet for my daughters. I put the empty dish away for next year.

Oh I so believe you......I really do. HaHaHa. After I saw your post, I had to go to the store for some bread, juice, etc. And since those items were close by, they just jumped into my cart..
To me the combination of the two have the same taste as a Payday candy bar.

I never heard of mixing the two but FYI...I have already eaten 2 bags of candy corn all by myself!! Addictive?? Oh yeah!!

Popped over to your blog after reading about red velvet cupcakes on your sister's latest post and find you talking about candy corn. Good heavens, I've just switched one craving for another!! That is one fabulous basket, where on earth did you get that??
