Last week I went to my garden mentor's house. I want to show you her garden. Mary Joan the master gardener says "oh it doesn't look good right now, come back in about 6 weeks".
6 weeks - don't be ridiculous. Open this door and let me in or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow this house down!
She of course relented. What makes Joan's garden and house so inviting are all the little touches. Things I wouldn't think about unless I went to her house and stole all her ideas.
Luckily she doesn't mind it when I copy. Today after the tour we went to Van Liew's. It's THE place to go in Kansas City for any kind of fountain, statue, outdoor ornamentation, etc... I'll show you what I bought there as soon as Chris (#1 fountain assembly man) finishes up with his work.
hey! is this the lady's house we went to long time ago when you were housesitting and we rummaged through all her closets & drawers?

Sister:
no, NO, and NO! You clearly have me confused with someone else. If you wanted to see ANYTHING Mary Joan had ANYWHERE in her house she would show you and if you wanted it - she would give it to you.
Sister!
