I did not go shopping on Black Friday. But if I was going to do any shopping, I would have bought this. I saw it sitting outside a cute little shop in Lenexa. I was on a mission today and only had time to grab a few photos. I love you sweet chair. I will be back to negotiate with your current owners.
I decided the day after Thanksgiving was a good day to have my first gingerbread latte of the season. And I decided the place to have it was The Blackdog Coffee House.
A very good choice on my part as it turned out.
It was the ideal place to sit and let the prospect of three days off sink in. We sat and contemplated which classes to take at the knitting retreat coming up in February. The perfect amount of exertion for the day after Thanksgiving, if I do say so myself.
So, what classes are you taking? Too bad the Yarn Harlot won't be there. How do you knit? English or Continental or Combined (like Annie Modesitt) Check her out on You Tube...you won't believe how fast the two above mentioned knitters knit. Holy Moly, like the wind!

Next time you go to that coffee shop, have the fireside chai latte for me- its a little far for me to travel but I would love to know if it works!

Gingerbread latte eh? I was so in the mood for gingerbread yesterday -- I never thought about the flavors in a latte... will have to search here for one! Sounds yummy!

Will you be taking part in the Strut Your Stuff Fashion Show? And, if so, will there be photos?
What a great project! I'd love to knit with the mighty (yourself included).
