Sunday morning I was faced with a dilemma. I had a key-lime pie monkey on my back... and the element in our oven burned out Saturday night. In case you haven't seen a burned out element, I enclose this picture.
Oval pie. Small oven. Perfect.
In case you are wondering how to cut your oval pie - I geometrically mapped this out and found it the most pleasing.
Who says a pie has to be pie shaped?
When you have a key-lime pie monkey on your back, any shape will do.
Oh how I love Key Lime Pie. I'm with you...who said pies had to be round? Save the end cuts for me....they're the biggest.

Your geometric slices look great but personally, I would have just cut it in quarters.

The way you cut that pie is a work of art!
I hope you get your oven back to rights soon - these things ALWAYS happen at the weekend, don't you find?

Hey there miss cute as pie! Now that we are back from Eden, we too are facing the raging storms. I'll get my ingredients in right now! It will make me feel tropical again. Great idea.
