Back on October 7th I was wondering where in the heck the fall foliage was. I needn't have worried. The trees and shrubs were at their peak today in Lawrence at 4:10 pm. Quite a show they are putting on. Giving the Blue Ridge Parkway a run for it's money.
I feel compelled to present the yellows on display today since I went on and on and on about the orange last week.
There will of course be a day devoted to red as well. I am just waiting for the red sunset maple out front to catch up with the Euonymus alatus (burning bush) out back.
These are beautiful! xx

Gorgeous! We have far too many evergreens here but your photos make me want to go search out some fall color!

Out west we don't get the stunning displays of leafy wonder...we have lovely golden cottonwoods and ash trees that are pretty, just on a smaller scale.
