The weather here in the desert is very conducive to relaxation. And if that in and of itself were not enough we also have party drinks, decorations, hula hoops, supplies to try out, techniques to observe, a pool to jump in, and some crazy-daisy hanging wicker chairs to swing in.
Art retreat # two is off to a very good start indeed.
Fun, fun, fun! Not a bad way to spend a weekend in January.

I looked carefully and I think I saw my name on that hammock. Maybe it was yours but I am pretty sure that there is a hammock somewhere warm that has my name on it. Surely there is. Please let it be. At least have a little read there and send a picture!

I am not at all jealous as I am 100% in favor of sisterhood and its celebration? My four,
Beautiful, creative, resilient daughters and myself have indeed celebrated our own "women's
Retreats" Interestingly one even in Palm Springs.
As I sit in my own cozy nest on an island near Seattle, listening to the lowing of fog
Horns and snuggling ever deeper into my quilts, I am envious.
I think our next retreat will be held at a rental, (perhaps, lovely mid-century) like the
One you are enjoying the hell out if.
Paint and ink and laugh and play to your hearts content you silly girls. Lots of love!
