After seeing your photo of the martini on instagram, I decided to go into my own bar supplies and came up with my own version: Dawn's Coconut Ginger Lemon Drop: 1 oz Malibu rum, 1 oz. Citron Vodka, 1/2 to 1 oz Domain de Canton and a splash of sour mix (I make my on using myers lemons), a little ice, a quick stir and waa-laa ~ heaven! Thanks for the inspiration!

Ha, yup, been to our local Ruth Chris. Quite a few years ago but it was Amazing. We celebrated an anniversary there tho for the life of me now, I can't remember what year we'd celebrated. We are heading into 21 years so I don't remember as many details of the first few, babies really mess up one's memories, it's all a blur. I'll attribute my lack of memory to lack of sleep those years, it's as good excuse as any. Indeed, an evening at RC is time well spent for sure. That much I DO remember quite well.

I made steak tonight. I never liked spinach until I tried creamed spinach as a side at Ruth's Chris. Shall try and make up an occasion to go to the bar next:)


We have a Ruth's Chris here, never been to it! I do love a good steak. I always thought the name of the restaurant was so hard to pronounce, doesn't exactly roll right off the tongue, eh?
