That peppermint zinnia...wow! xox

Caroline

You definitely needed to buy those zinnias because you have some (at least one) zinnia deficient readers. The peppermint! The pink and orange together! Swoon!

Amy at love made my home

I so wish that we had a market like that where I live! I would have bought the bunch of zinnias home too I think, they are so pretty aren't they. xx

I love zinnias! An all time favorite summer flower. isn't the white one with the splotches of pink so beautiful-looks like someone flipped a paintbrush with pink paint at it.

Reusing that pickling liquid is fine but I would boil it up again. And when you are between batches, pickle hard boiled eggs in it. I do that with my leftover pickle juice from 'store bought' dill pickles. Every now and then I swear I'll do the British version of pickled eggs but I'm too lazy. That was for my 40 yr old self. ;)

Carol, what is your recipe for pickling your cucumbers and red onions. Thanks,

Linda

I have a secret Carol....shhhh...I use the juice from "bought"pickles...when the pickles are gone, I add red onion slices and sliced cucumber....don't tell!
Snazzy Zinnias...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
