So beautiful! Do tell us more about the hooking you learned!

Missing you Sisters! xox

Belatedly catching up on your latest posts. Looks like this trip was another memorable one. Especially loved the matilija poppies, beach glass/stones, and the newly hooked bluebird (and I'm a big fan of pelicans--they occasionally fly over our house in KC during migration times). Thanks for sharing, as always. :)

Loved the finished bird! And delightful to hear how much fun you had in my neck of the woods.

Love, love, love that sweet little birdie!

Withdrawal setting in! Journaling alone isn't like journaling with You, Sister, and Sharron. Please come back soon. XxOo

Amy at love made my home

The bird is fantastic!!! I hope that you enjoy making yours. Hope that your journey home was a good one and that the brisket was a tasty welcome home! xx

I think that punch needle hooking would be fun. Especially with friends who show you how. An excellent trip I'd say.

It's always good for an artist to be able to add "hooker" to your resume :)

Sounds like you had a magical time. That area of CA is one of my very favorite. Someday, we may get to move there. Meanwhile, we visit frequently. And, shame on you. First it was french knots, now hooking. Don't you know I have enough going on? :)

Your delightful adventures on the Pacific coast didn't go unnoticed by this reader and I enjoyed every single moment shared. You are truly the luckiest gal on the planet along with all your partners in creative hi-jinx.

Those birds are very cool... and the ice cream looks moreish!
