I used this recipe with the addition of about 1 teaspoon each of ground cumin and curry powder. When you get a taste for some creamy butternut squash soup this summer - make this instead. You will not be sorry. The orange juice (which I thought sounded like a very weird ingredient to add to this soup) makes it light and flavorful. The perfect summer soup. Plus I used up every single one of my carrots.

How'd you know I was looking for a carrot recipe? Your painting is great - love the good contrast in light/dark. Drawing food before eating is becoming a new mealtime ritual around here.
