I could see a storm brewing over Lawrence tonight on my way home. Westbound on K-10. This was one of those nights when a "pullover" was needed.
7:55pm
7:58pm
8:00pm
And when I thought it wasn't going to get any better I pulled back onto the hiway, only to pull off a minute later because I realized it WAS going to get better.
8:03pm
I love the overlapping layers of clouds best. Sure was glad the trusty Nikon Coolpix was in my purse. You never know when you are going to have a two "pullover" night.
Wow, what great photos! I'm glad you pulled over, twice! Thanks for sharing.

We share a fascination for skies, clouds, sunsets, sunrises (me)...I was just showing my son some pix I took of an approaching rainstorm in the very scenic Valley of Fire, these pix were in a series too. Storms in the desert are spectacular.
Great shots, glad you pulled over twice.

Certainly worth a couple of pull-overs and deep breaths!

I'm so relieved. When I first saw your pull over title I thought perhaps a twister! So glad it was a glorious sunset.
