If you have a brulee torch and have just been dying to find another way to use it, may I suggest this recipe. I did not want to make a whole cake so I did 2 servings in ramekins instead. And I added a dash of cinnamon to the crust and left the sugar out. You know I can't leave well enough alone.
I bought all the ingredients except for the marshmallow topping. It was pretty easy to make (from recipe above for cake) and I even kept it in the refrigerator for 24 hours so I could do the second ramekin one day later. Worked great. Oh the deliciousness of that very toasted, almost burnt, marshmallow cream.
I will do this again. I have all sorts of cake and ice cream/baked alaska ideas swimming around in my head.
Oh that looks so good--hagan daz and marshmellow cream--what more could you want!

Oh boy... I see another addiction coming on for me... when you say you didn't buy the marshmallow topping does that mean you made the meringue from the recipe you linked to? Can't wait to give this a try.... Thanks for sharing!!!

OH! Double OH! I have to make this. Now on the marshmallow topping: is this actual mini marshmallows or marshmallow creme in the jar? My taste buds are doing a dance!

No brulee torch but I have one of those BBQ starter things. Will that work?
That looks delicious!
