When you start a new knitting project,
with roving that looks like this (warning breaks very easily),
and a pattern that is all marked up like this (ugh - seems complicated at first glance),
and the first 8 rows look like this (what?#%),
the word you want to repeat (over and over) to yourself a few times is - "courage". Followed by "surely it will get better".
This is going to be a moonshine hat. I might make the mittens too. I haven't decided yet. It all depends on whether or not this roving starts to grow on me. Or not.

LOL yeah I was thinking that too.... I would have no doubt chosen a much, erm... different.... (curse) word!!! LOL On the other hand it will be really cute when done. You are so talented Carol!
