My sister and I had a FaceTime sketch session the other day.
While she did a jaw dropping rendition of Sharron's journal, I drew she and Pam from photos I took in Palm Springs. Then I colored them in.
I like to color in. It's fun. I also put some finishing touches on other things from the art retreat.
Labels might be important in years to come.
I heard a man at breakfast say, "we need a German pancake for the table", when he ordered breakfast. I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget to order one for our table. It seemed like such a good idea. But then I forgot.
I also colored in some leaves from a drawing of leaves I copied from a book.
This pepper shaker got left on the stove one time and the heat caused it to become slightly misshapen but it still works just fine. These things happen. I actually think the pepper shakes out of it better than the regular pepper shaker. I recommended to the manager on duty at Elmer's to put all the pepper shakers on the stove.
I love your sketches--so fun!

I always love seeing your sketches! The one of Pam in her orange sweater brought to mind this photo of Virginia Woolf: http://www.literaryladiesguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/virginia-woolf5.jpg
