When the leaves come back on the old locust tree out back, and the iris that were transported from Angie's yard start to bloom, and the garlic chives Nancy gave me get buds on them, it's time to uncover the birdbath and get it filled up.
I let all the neighborhood birds know today that I would be changing the water regularly, but that I would still appreciate it if they did their best not to get large quantities of food or poop in the water. I am pretty sure they said they would try.
I enjoy checking your blog each day. It is one of those constants in life that makes me smile. And I am always amazed that you can come up with something that is sweet or humorous or clever or pretty or informative EVERYDAY.

That is a great sign of spring. I hope the birds behave themselves!! xx

Those birds need to mind their manners! Food and poop in the bird bath is no way to thank the lady who put it out there for their pleasure.
I totally agree with Barbara Casillas...the fact that you post here EVERY DAY, something special, is amazing to me.
