Man oh man was the scenery beautiful in Texas. Big blue sky and sun and all those yellows and golds.
Our cousin David took us out to a ranch on the morning we were leaving. To give us a different taste of Texas.
Breakfast tacos with handmade fresh tortillas included. Sigh. We sat in the warm sun, staring at the lake and smacking our lips in appreciation.
Then we discussed how important it would be for another 27 years not to go by before we saw each other again and took goofy photos. Because that's what we do in our family.
Love it! Happy for you all.

It's such a great feeling to renew connection with relatives. Seems as though the older I get the more poignant these reunions become. I'm late to the party following your blog this past while and have enjoyed spending the day getting all caught up on your adventures. LOVE LOVE LOVE it all.

Family history is always interesting and yours seems more than most! I am glad that you still have aunts to help you. There are questions I didn't ask or even think about but it is too late now - all the first hand knowledge has gone to the grave. It is okay, but I am sorry that I did not know the questions to ask earlier.
