Here is my progress on the fingerless mitts that are to be completed in 2 days time.
For the record, I would like to point out the amount of yarn I was left with (M&M's included for perspective). It doesn't get much better than that.
All ready for that knitting rendezvous with my pals on Thursday. Poncho and wristlets completed.
Just in time for the high of 70 degrees we are expecting on Thursday, by the way. Well, it will still be chilly in the morning when I leave the house. Perfect weather for wristlets and a poncho.
This pattern is a free download from Vogue Knitting. I made a few adjustments and did the first and last 6 rows with a contrasting yarn in a stockinette stitch because I wanted that rolled up look. I had 2 oz of that hand spun yarn and just hoped it would be enough - along with that bit of brown. Super easy pattern. Great for using up bits of stash yarn.
Your wristlets are so pretty and that little bit of turquoise in the yarn totally makes them!
