Last weekend I finished knitting, blocking and seaming up my poncho.
Just in time for my self imposed deadline. Today.
I love this pattern. It is easy enough for a beginner and can be made with many types of yarn. All you do is knit and purl, make a long rectangle, fold it in half, and seam up part of one edge for the neckline.
I almost added the cowl neckline, but in the end decided I might want to wear scarves with it instead. I also like the way it looks with a collared shirt underneath and thought the cowl would get in the way of that.
Perfect along with the wristlets. The fact that the scarf kind of goes with them is totally coincidental.
As was the arrival of the Harvey boys at the end of the photo shoot. It's a good thing Chris had gotten all the shots I wanted. Once cats are on the scene I only have eyes for them.
