THANK YOU for the tips on the kale salad and for the dressing recipe... I think it will be on my dinner table in the near future!

Drinking my green juice while reading your post. It's going to be a real "veggie" week-end around here. I just finished cleaning a mountain of fresh veggies. Lots of kale, I am going to make that salad. Your recipes always sound so good. I ate a couple of radishes while cleaning them...but NOW I am going to pickle some, have never tried that! Just salt and vinegar I assume?

My frig is full of cleaned fresh veggies too. Oh what a feeling!

Barbara: I used this pickling recipe - I liked how it turned out.
1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar1/4 cup sugarkosher or sea salt 1 tspHeat in pan until sugar is dissolved and then pour over chopped veggies in jar

Thanks Carol, for the recipe. Pickled veggies are a pickling, and my mind is racing with things to try next. I can't believe I've never made pickles of any kind!
