A few months back when I made Martha Stewart's no knead - multi grain bread, I mentioned many things that I intended to eat on the bread.
I realized this week that I omitted a very important one.
I am posting this tonight so in case you have time this weekend you can get your very own jar of pumpkin pecan butter and try this winning combination yourself.
If you have a nice locally grown pear in your refrigerator you might want to get that out and cut it up too.
Top it with some plain greek yogurt and a bit of honey, then put a bunch of little pieces of bread on the side.
Put this much pumpkin butter on top of each bite and pop it in your mouth. Be prepared for goodness. Serious goodness.
Lastly, pour some coffee, in your favorite mug, that you hold between both hands as you breathe in the aroma and think of all the things you will do this weekend, if you are lucky enough to be off. Which I am.
A yummy thanks Carol, from across the miles! ;o)

I have had some wonderful pumpkin butter in the past. I can't for the life of me remember where I bought it. I would love it spread on an English Muffin. The bread looks divine, too.
