We have just returned from 4 days of shenanigans with a couple of tricksters and their peanut of a sister who is a mighty force in her own right. The photo below captures their essential natures perfectly.
We learned to play "rat-a-tat-cat" and taught them "spot-it", told about a million knock-knock jokes, and read Halloween stories.
The 2nd annual Moss Family putt putt tournament was won by Chris this year and featured a hole in one by Gavin Watson. There was trick or treating, paddle-boating, swimming, and a whipped cream eating competition.
Nails were painted by a 3 year old nail technician and then Dottie showed Katharine the famous Mary Ann dance videos. She was enthralled with those and said "she's my sister too".
We sang a million songs, told made-up stories using finger puppets, and went on an amazing hike that involved knocking over dead trees, karate kicking stumps, and finding cool rocks.
I have been bitten hard. By a serious case of great Aunt love. It's kind of like grandma love, but even stronger. If that is even possible. I can't be sure about that. What I do know with absolute certainty is that I am a very lucky person. And don't think for one second that I don't know it.
They are precious! Sounds like a wonderful time.

Yes, you are mighty lucky to have this precious family. It's apparent that you are well aware of such treasures.

Dance videos! What fun you had! I had Auntie love long before I had grandbaby love-I can say they are on par.
