On a gray November day, there is nothing better than knitting.
Knitting by the fire, with a hot cup of coffee is a very worthy way to spend a morning.
Especially with size 17 needles and super bulky yarn.
I went from casting on to blocking in about 2 hours. Pattern is Steven Be's Jet Setter Cowl. Yarn is Ombre Super Bulky in South Beach colorway. I bought mine on line from Hill Country Weavers. Wow - super fast service from them.
This is what it looked like when I blocked it to open up the pattern a bit. My mind is spinning with all kinds of possibilities of other things I could do with this pattern and those needles. Modeling photo shoot to follow on unsuspecting Thanksgiving day guests. Stay tuned for all the ways you can wear this.
I love your color choice!
Hill Country Weavers is in my town, Austin, TX. I love that store. I don't go there often, because I don't know how to control myself.

What heavenly colors in that cowl. Just yummy. I can't wait to see it modeled by your unsuspecting guests.
My knitting project is being made on considerably smaller needles: sz. 1, knitting socks. I have a pair of needles the size you're using by my hands can't manipulate the darn things.
The colors in the yard are stunning. So love fall.
