Wonderful! Thanks Carol!

And when you eat that pie for breakfast, tell yourself "This is for all the ladies who passed up the dessert table on the Titanic"!!!!!!

I envy your farmers market--we have one here--but no big buckets full of peonies and the strawberries were disappointing--so many unripe ones mixed in with the ripe ones they just weren't worth the money. The roasted beat and kale salad sounds delicious!! I wish you had taken a photo of the buttons on that guys jacket--I would love to have read them!! Have a great week.

Again, your post offered me beauty and a wonderful memory. My friend Ken, who had MS and passed over almost five years ago, always said, "Eat dessert first." It became a wonderful, funny mantra when we'd all go out for lunch and have our desert first, or Ken would coax me into feeding him his desert first when his wife supposedly wasn't looking. At his memorial, we had tables filled to the brim with the most wonderful desserts and we each had a sugar high for days, coupled with the high of having known Ken.
