Somewhere, in a random photo album, I have a picture of myself with my very first car. A '64 Chevy Belair that I bought for $100. A very good buy. I am certain it had nothing to do with the fact that I was purchasing it from my then "boyfriend". It could be started without the key, you just had to turn the metal around the slot where the key went in. Very handy. As long as I was the only one that knew this.
This is me today. Saying goodbye to my 9 year old Camry. Prior to handing over the keys I carefully took Angie's sunglasses, gloves, and lactaid tablets out of the glove box. I will transfer them to my new car. In case on a sunny or wintery or ice-cream kind of day at some point in the future, a break in the space-time continuum happens and I turn around to see Angie sitting in the co-pilot seat of my new ride.
Awwwww, love it! ♥♥♥

And then you can do a new Angie post here about all the awesome things she had to say. ❤️ Good luck with your new car, Carol. Whether you see her or not, I know Angie will be along for the ride.

So sweet, i know just how you feel. My sister sold her house recently and I thought about how another piece of my mom, who visited and celebrated with family there so often, was now gone forever. Life moves so fast. Glad you could take your little portion with you this time.
