I am late to the pumpkin party this year. No pie has yet been made and the first pumpkin bread just happened this weekend.
I decided to use large and small bundt pans this year instead of a loaf pan. Just because. This is my excuse for breaking my own rule and forgetting to sprinkle raw sugar on top before baking.
It's still tasty. The perfect November dessert after dinner with a cup of hot tea. Maybe (or maybe not) some whipped cream on the side.
For breakfast, a side dish of blueberries and bananas with a scoop of plain greek yogurt on top. Coffee to drink.
Here is the link to my original post with the recipe. I should have taken the time to get a clearer photo of the bread on the plate. But I am weak. As soon as the lid came off the cake stand and the aroma of pumpkin hit me, I got restless. When there is a contest between restless for pumpkin and perfect photo, restless for pumpkin always wins.
I'm not a big pumpkin fan (eating that is), but this does look moist and tasty. Especially paired with hot tea. I have a mix for pumpkin spice muffins we were given recently and I now think I need to make those. My hubby loves pumpkin.
