This week yarns were wound into wee balls.
Hardware stores were visited. Washers were purchased.
Kits were assembled.
Friends gathered.
Coffee shops were visited. And a new knitting project was undertaken.
Things were a little fiddley to start. Totally normal when you are knitting with toothpicks.
Collards greens and spaghetti squash salads with dried cherries and feta kept our energy levels up and the knitting continued. Progress was made.
After lunch holiday lattes were tried. Something sweet to balance out all those greens. I had the Rudolph. A cherry chocolate concoction that was everything I needed and more.
It was a lovely day. Alas, I do NOT have a completed elf to show you yet. But soon. Very soon. Then it will be on to wee elf #2. Jolly elves need friends to make merry with.
Details here if you want to start your collection of wee jolly elves.
P.S. if you EVER find yourself within driving distance of Churchmouse Yarns, you gotta go.
Sounds like fun, and the elves are adorable! Will they live in the forest amongst the trees? Merry Christmas, Carol.
