Today I puttered. But efficiently. If that is even a thing. Which I think it is. Three cups of coffee will kick low-key puttering into high gear. Trust me.
Soup making, combined with a little decorating, followed by the annual bringing in of the hoses. That got done too.
All the while, I was putting new books on hold at the library, polishing my fingernails, wrapping a present, and playing a running game of words with friends with Brother while he baked cranberry-white chocolate-macadamia nut cookies.
Multi-tasking runs in our family.
I love the kind of day you described. Getting a lot done but at your own pace and enjoying the time. Some day - I hope that can be a daily ritual instead of just a weekend one!

I'd say great stuff run in your family, in general! ♥

Over here, Carol, we say that's pottering. Relaxed but kind of purposeful.
My puttering includes rambling through recipes for our '10 at the table' Christmas feast. Eight of the ten are non meat eaters. I shall look closely at your recipe ideas for inspiration.
