As I write this I am listening to Amy Grant’s Christmas album from 1983. Sitting in front of the fire. Swaying to the music. Do you do that too? For me, it comes from all those years of singing with the folk group at mass. At Christmas we were especially “on our game” if I do say so myself. Singing and Christmas run deeply together inside me.
”Christmas Eva” has been placed on the mantle. She recovered well from her head re-attachment procedure after her untimely decapitation last year. I have been to the post office this morning and mailed all packages to the Moss clan. It took exactly 13 minutes. Just the right amount of time to observe the wide variety of packaging techniques. I marveled at the precision of the folds on the boxes of the man in front of me. I caught him sneaking peaks at my wild boxes. I think he wanted to say something about plain brown paper being the wrapping the post office preferred it’s customers use, but then he looked up at me and I smiled at him and he thought better of it.
I am now sipping on a cup of coffee with slightly clotted half & half that tastes just fine as long as I don’t look at it. Ho-ho-heck and happy weekend to all.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays Carol, I so thanks you for brightening the days with your terrific blog. No matter the subject, I always know I am in for a treat! My favorite blog! ♥

I've so enjoyed your blog over the years, laughing and being touched by so many of your posts dealing with life issues we all have to face at some point. Your blog is a cheerful, fun place. Thanks for making it so.
Clotted Half & half? Is it spoiled? Oh ick!
