Simple things that were savored this week.
Hot tea at home in the morning. In these cups that were gifted to me in 1996 or '97 by a lovely group of women that I was "managing" at the time.
Being able to walk outside, in the sun, wearing a sweatshirt, in December.
Getting out the Christmas napkins.
Holiday lights on Massachusetts street in downtown Lawrence.
This magnolia wreath from Pendleton's on my front porch.
A plate of Quail Nancy's famous bite-sized sugar cookies. Below are her daughter Meredith's works of art.
Sparkly, winter wonderland-ish, imaginative, perfect. Bravo to the Walrafen women. Please continue to provide samples and photographs annually so I can be certain you are continuing to grow and excel in your decorating and baking skills. What I unfortunately did not take a photo of were the cranberry shortbread cookies that Nancy's sister, Jennifer, made. Who has heard of those? Shortbread with a tart twist. And so pretty. Take my word.
Love all of your photos, but the wreath is so perfect!
