This was one of those impulse grabs off a display shelf the last time I was at the library. I am pretty sure there is no way I could ever knit all the characters in the story, but I can absolutely appreciate a clever idea.
Because seriously, how sweet would it be to be in a double bed with a feather mattress and tons of pillows
and a pile of quilts, with 5 of your favorite great neices and nephews
who could each pretend to be a character as you read the story to them by the light of the Christmas tree and maybe a candle or two
and at the very end they would have fallen asleep, under the spell of the magic of the season
and when you all woke up the next morning the knitted reindeer would have disappeared with Santa and his sleigh. If only.
So charming. ;o0

Oh, to have back that magical anticipation waiting for Santa to deliver the presents.
I never tire of hearing or reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.
