In case you were wondering,

the molasses cookies with eggnog buttercream frosting from the Black Squirrel Bake Shop were EXCEPTIONAL.  A crackly exterior with a soft middle... and that frosting.  You will see I bought two.  In case Chris wanted one (which I knew he would not).  But that is why there are two tiny apple turnovers right next to them from Muriel.  Because Chris can't pass up a baked fruit dessert that includes apples.  And I didn't want him to feel left out, while I was in the midst of me-oh-my'ing.
