oh but the leaves were glorious last week in Lawrence. Oranges, reds, yellows, burgundy, tan, green, and everything in between. Even Wednesday, driving in our first snow flurries of the season, with cloudy gray skies, the muted rusts and deep golds were beautiful.
If you are wondering if I look up constantly during fall color season the answer is yes. Unless I am looking straight down that is.
And even occasionally straight ahead, like when encountering a young Autumn Splendor maple that is still a youngster.
When the price of admission is free, and comes with the added bonus of kicking leaves as you walk, with the sun on your skin and the breeze on your face, it's pretty hard to beat FALL.
The end.
Glorious photos, than you carol.
