Succulents are amazing. With next to no care at all, sitting on the kitchen window sill, over the winter, this new tiny growth has emerged. Delightful.
Keeping with the theme of delightful... here are some things I have added to my inspiration board recently. Colors, patterns, a valentine card to myself. Why not?
Kalanchoe's have arrived. Perfect in this housewarming pot from my friend Joan. Fifteen years ago. Longevity. A sure sign of a great gift... and friendship.
I picked the plant that had 3 different colored flowers in one pot last year and enjoyed it so much that I repeated it this year.
Other enjoyable and delightful experiences this week have included a stop at Alchemy coffee downtown,
and some wonderful walks in the sunshine.
Oh and THIS meticulously stitched pin cushion that Pat made. A miniature work of art. I love her choice of the background for the needlework. A cobblestone patio for the pot.
Once again, completely delightful.
TotLLT gree! Delightful, Carol!

Carol your Kalanchoe is gorgeous. Compared to yours, mine looks sick!
Can you tell me what light it has and how you water it?

Fran: it's on my dining room table right now which gets afternoon sun. in the spring I will put it on the front porch and leave it there all through the summer where it gets a bit of morning sun. I soak it and then water it again when it feels dry. I have found them easy to care for. they will re-bloom as well if you deadhead them properly.
