The clouds on Sunday morning between 8:00 and 8:22am were simply splendid. It was a bit chilly on my walk, but these vista's and the smells of approaching spring, along with the chatter of returning robins made for a perfect morning.
My endorphins were kicked up into high gear; in a way that simply can not be replicated by walking indoors. And if that wasn't enough to make Sunday great, there were also these strawberries.
Which, though far from home-grown, tasted especially good to me. The walk, followed by the strawberries, accompanied by toast and coffee, gave me the impetus to set up the sewing machine and start some guerrilla patching - to be added to by hand as the ideas come to me.
Sometimes the ideas make sense. Other times they do not. It's the least prudent ones that most appeal to me for some reason. These are my "house jeans". You know, the ones that you really shouldn't wear outside the house but sometimes do. House jeans are best for wild experimentation.
