Saturday things. Beginning with that teeny tiny little baby bird beak that you have to look really hard to see.
Second in importance is the return of flower arranging with whatever is blooming in the yard.
Thirdly was the savory quick bread monkey I got off my back. It will be good in the lunchbox this coming week. Glad I tried it. Not sure this recipe will be repeated, but I did thoroughly enjoy a slice spread with soft cream cheese, for an early afternoon pick me up accompanied by the last of the morning coffee over ice.
The first Iris have started to bloom, if one of you wants to come buy and pull all those weeds growing amongst them that would be just great.
Meanwhile, I'm just going to hang out on the porch, with the robin, who doesn't seem a bit disturbed by my quiet presence as she goes about the business of worm wrangling.
I've been noticing a lot of people baking bread during this time. I saw an intriguing recipe yesterday for 2 ingredient bread which calls for self rising flour and a pint of thawed ice cream... sprinkles optional for an extra ingredient. I think I'm going to give it a try. I like experimenting in the kitchen and this will keep my hands busy for part of the day. Backing is soothing for me but it doesn't look good on my hips. heh heh

Life at your house seems, from the views you give us, to be calm and peaceful, just the way I like it. If you ever Airbnb a room, I may show up on your doorstep, coffee mug and fork in hand.
