Monday morning on my way to work, the sky opened up in a thrilling, spectacular, way. Reminding me that from about the middle of May to early June is the best "season" for sunrises here in Kansas. When your commute encompasses the time frame between 5:50 and 6:15am that is.
Technically it's right before the sun rises, when it is peaking up over the edge of the horizon, getting ready to round the curve and start the day. That's when it's my very, very, very, favorite. Note to self: when you retire, plan very early morning adventures with your pals who live to the east of you so you can still witness this amazingness.
Really gorgeous, Carol. Thanks for sharing.
